“Being here a little more than a week. I really like this place. People are really kind. Once I arrived, concierge greeted me with this lovely welcome bag and a nice blanket. Nurses are very caring. Always taking good care of me.”

South Brooklyn refers to a part of the City of Brooklyn that includes the areas of Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Park Slope, and Red Hook neighborhoods. It was once named “South Brooklyn” for its location, which was south of the original Village of Brooklyn. However, it is not really the southern region of the modern borough of Brooklyn which includes Gravesend, Sheepshead Bay, and other neighborhoods.
