South Park Slope is a neighborhood in Brooklyn that’s located between Sunset Park and Park Slope. Originally, the area was named “South Slope.” However, in 2005 the New York City Department of City Planning renamed the area South Park Slope. South Park Slope is made up historical, pre-war row houses, although there has been an increase in residential construction within the area.
