Ephie Carni, Administrator of The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brooklyn, New York, has been awarded the distinguished Eli Pick Facility Leadership award.

Beginning his journey with the CareRite Centers network in June 2012, Carni started at Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, before transitioning to his current role as administrator at the Phoenix.

He shared, “The Phoenix has a strong history of patient centered care and I am proud to lead a team of healthcare providers whose mission it is to assist patients during some of the most vulnerable times in their lives.”

He continued, “I have an open door policy in my community; this community has always had a high caliber of service. This award should also be credited to the directors. The caliber of directors and staff is unprecedented, the Phoenix is not just one person.”
